Job summary

Leonardo UK in Luton is seeking a highly capable Systems Engineer to contribute to multi-disciplinary system development for defence applications. You will develop requirements, manage documentation, and collaborate with suppliers, integrators and end users across the UK.

The role emphasizes MBSE, system modelling, verification and validation, and opportunities to lead technical activities while working in a hybrid onsite environment.

Qualifications

• Science-based Honours degree or equivalent experience
• Experience or a desire to gain electronic warfare domain knowledge
• Knowledge of systems engineering lifecycle including requirements, architecture, MBSE

Responsibilities

• Development of Requirements and Test Plans
• Control of Parts and Documentation including change management
• Collaboration with multi-functional teams on system and sub-system development
• Work with suppliers, integrators, and users across the UK
• Mentoring and coaching other engineers
• Creating and delivering reports, presentations and proposals to customers
