Job summary

Leonardo UK is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer in the UK to drive requirements, system architecture, MBSE, and verification across Tempest and GCAP programmes. The role blends office and lab work with collaboration across UK teams and suppliers.

You will mentor engineers, model systems, perform cost and performance trade-offs, and deliver reports to stakeholders while maintaining security and compliance requirements. A UK residency and passport are required.

Qualifications

• Science-based Honours degree or equivalent experience.
• Experience or interest in electronic warfare domain knowledge.
• Knowledge of systems engineering lifecycle: requirements, architecture, MBSE, verification & validation.

Responsibilities

• Develop requirements and test plans.
• Control parts and documentation, manage changes.
• Collaborate with multi-functional teams on system and sub-system development for Tempest and GCAP.
• Work with suppliers, integrators, and users across the UK.
