Job summary

Stantec is seeking a DCO Planner at Senior/Principal/Associate level to join the Infrastructure team. Based in the UK offices, you will lead planning and consenting workstreams for major projects, including NSIPs under the Planning Act 2008, and shape delivery programmes with clients and multidisciplinary teams.

You will provide EIA strategy guidance, manage consenting processes, and mentor colleagues as part of a collaborative culture focused on quality and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering planning and consenting for major infrastructure (or readiness to lead).
• Strong understanding of relevant consenting regimes, especially Development Consent Orders (DCO).
• Degree/qualification in Planning or Environment; commitment to quality.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate planning and consenting workstreams for major infrastructure projects, including NSIPs under the Planning Act 2008.
• Provide planning and EIA strategy advice and manage processes across consenting regimes (DCO, TCPA, DNS).
• Progress projects through scheme development, advising on methodologies and assessments.
