Job summary

Stantec is seeking a DCO Planner Senior/Principal/Associate to join its Infrastructure team in the UK. The role can be based from any UK office and involves coordinating planning and consenting for major infrastructure projects, including NSIPs under the Planning Act 2008.

You will provide planning and EIA strategy across regimes, progress complex schemes, and collaborate with clients and multidisciplinary teams to deliver deliverable programmes.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering planning and consenting for major infrastructure (or ready to lead).
• Strong understanding of Development Consent Orders (DCO) and related regimes.
• Professional qualification in Planning or Environment with commitment to quality.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning and consenting workstreams for major infrastructure projects (including NSIPs).
• Provide planning and EIA strategy advice across regimes (DCO, TCPA, DNS).
• Progress schemes through development, advising on methodologies and assessments.
