Job summary

Stantec is seeking a DCO Planner at Senior/Principal/Associate level to join our Infrastructure team. This role can be based from any UK office and focuses on consenting for major infrastructure projects across water, energy and transport.

You will lead planning workstreams, advise on DCO/EIA strategies, and collaborate with clients and multidisciplinary teams to develop deliverable programmes while mentoring colleagues.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering planning and consenting for major infrastructure.
• Strong knowledge of Development Consent Orders (DCO).
• Professional accreditation or progression towards MRTPI/APM/CMI/CEnv/CEng.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate planning and consenting workstreams for major infrastructure.
• Provide planning and EIA strategy advice across regimes (DCO, TCPA, DNS).
• Progress projects through scheme development and assessments.
• Collaborate with clients and multidisciplinary teams to shape deliverable programmes.
• Mentor colleagues and contribute to a collaborative team culture.
