Job summary

Stantec is seeking a DCO Planner at Senior/Principal/Associate level to join our Infrastructure team in the UK. The role is based from any UK office and involves leading planning and consenting for major infrastructure projects.

You will coordinate planning workstreams, advise on EIA strategies, and collaborate with clients and multidisciplinary teams to deliver deliverable programmes while mentoring colleagues and growing the team.

Qualifications

• Requires planning expertise for major infrastructure projects.
• Experience with consenting regimes, especially DCO.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate planning and consenting workstreams for major infra projects.
• Provide planning and EIA strategy advice across regimes (DCO, TCPA, DNS).
• Progress projects through scheme development, advising on methodologies and assessments.
• Collaborate with clients, stakeholders and multidisciplinary teams to shape deliverable programmes.
• Identify risks early, maintain momentum, and deliver quality outcomes.
• Mentor colleagues and contribute to a collaborative team culture.
