Job summary

An award-winning pension consultancy is seeking a Senior Administrator to join their Defined Benefit team in a hybrid working environment. The role focuses on prioritising workload, supporting the Administration Manager, and delivering quality pension administration to clients.

You will handle complex tasks, engage with trustees and senior members, and participate in annual projects like renewals and benefit statements, while guiding less experienced colleagues.

Qualifications

• Good knowledge of Defined Benefit (DB) pension schemes.
• Ability to perform a range of calculations including leavers, retirements, deaths and transfers.
• Strong numeracy, communication and organisation skills.
• 3+ years technical experience from a Third Party or In-House background.

Responsibilities

• Prioritise day-to-day workload of the team and assist Administration Manager.
• Provide an effective pension administration service to clients.
• Act as a point of contact for clients, trustees and senior scheme members.
• Contribute to annual projects such as renewals and benefit statements.
• Provide input on process and procedural change.
