Job summary

Pyramid Consulting, Inc. is seeking an Infrastructure Specialist – Datacentre & Cloud to join our team in delivering IT infrastructure support for a major audit, tax and consulting client.

The role focuses on hybrid cloud systems, datacentre services, and ensuring security, performance and availability. You will manage AD/RDS, virtualization, patching, and automation while coordinating with vendors and internal teams to maintain 24/7 operational continuity.

Qualifications

• Proven hands-on experience in managing IT infrastructure components (servers, networks, storage, cloud).
• Experience with Active Directory, DNS, DHCP.
• Knowledge of Azure AD, MFA, Okta identity federation.
• Strong Windows Server and virtualization experience (VMware/Hyper-V).
• Experience managing patching cycles for enterprise endpoints/servers.
• Automation using PowerShell scripting is essential.
• Proficiency with MECM/SCCM, Intune and WSUS.
• Networking fundamentals and remote connectivity/VPN skills.
• Experience in Agile or hybrid IT delivery teams.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage datacentre operations including critical infrastructure (power, cooling, colocation).
• Administer and support RDS and AD environments with secure access management.
• Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts for provisioning, configuration, and reporting.
• Manage Azure guest accounts and OKTA identity management across hybrid environments.
• Coordinate with vendors to maintain operations, resolve incidents, and ensure reliability.
• Lead project execution, preventive maintenance, and fault resolution for 24/7 operations.
• Provide expert-level support for Windows Server and virtualization environments.
• Evaluate and implement new technologies to support business transformation.
• Monitor and manage critical infrastructure components (UPS, PDUs, HVAC, generators).
