Job summary

Assured Data Protection is seeking an Infrastructure Services Engineer to join a global technical team responsible for keeping our data centre environments running smoothly. You will administer VMware, Hyper-V and Nutanix platforms, implement security controls from InfoSec, and manage backup and disaster recovery tooling across on-premises and cloud environments.

The role involves a blend of on-call support, routine maintenance, and occasional customer site involvement, with hybrid working

• Balanced approach to risk, ensuring tasks complete under pressure without impacting live service.
• Mature attitude to change and backout planning before implementation.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Analytical and proactive problem-solver with good collaboration across teams.
• Willingness to learn and engage with unfamiliar areas of technology.

Responsibilities

• Manage VMware, Hyper-V and Nutanix environments to ensure stable data centre operations.
• Implement security principals from InfoSec and apply patches across infra stack.
• Administer and support Data Center Rubrik backup environment.
• Manage Zerto replication across sites and monitor DR readiness.
• Configure and maintain DC monitoring tools and cloud platforms (Azure/AWS).
• Collaborate with Product/Engineering teams to design scalable infrastructure.
