Job summary

Eucalyptus is seeking a Senior Manager, Data - UK to lead our UK data organisation and help build a scalable, standardised data platform across our international markets. You will oversee a multidisciplinary team and collaborate with Product, Commercial, Clinical, and Operations leaders to align regional delivery with our broader data strategy.

In the coming year, the team will support the launch of multiple new markets and migrate international businesses onto our shared data infrastructure,

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience across data engineering, machine learning, data science or platform engineering.
• 3+ years of experience managing multidisciplinary technical teams.
• Demonstrated experience building, scaling, or leading a modern data platform.
• A strong technical background, ideally in data engineering, machine learning engineering, or platform engineering.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the UK data team across Analytics Engineering, Data Engineering, and Data Science.
• Set the direction, priorities, and operating model for the team, ensuring resources are aligned to the highest-value strategic initiatives.
• Partner with UK Product, Commercial, Analytics, and Operations leaders to shape and deliver the international data roadmap.
• Work with Data and Technology leaders globally to build a consistent, scalable, and internationally aligned data platform.
• Lead the data strategy and execution required to support the launch of new markets and new brands.
• Oversee the migration of international data platforms onto shared GCP infrastructure.
• Provide technical leadership and sound architectural judgement across data, ML, and platform decisions.
• Build a high-performing, accountable team with clear ownership, strong standards, and sustainable delivery practices.
