Pioneer Search Ltd is seeking a Senior Data Engineer in London to join the data engineering function. The role focuses on SQL Server, T-SQL, SSIS, and data warehousing, with a major push to adopt Microsoft Fabric in 2027.

You will work closely with the Lead Data Engineer and cross-functional teams to modernise and support the data platform. The successful candidate will combine strong SQL/data warehousing expertise with hands-on experience in Azure-based data platforms and an Agile delivery

Qualificações

• Strong commercial experience with Microsoft SQL Server, advanced T-SQL & stored procedure development.
• Hands-on experience developing, maintaining & debugging SSIS ETL pipelines.
• Strong understanding of data warehousing, dimensional modelling & Microsoft BI technologies.
• Exposure to Microsoft Fabric or similar modern Azure data platforms, with Fabric implementation experience desirable.
• Ability to take technical ownership and contribute ideas with engineers on decisions.
• Experience working within Agile delivery environments.

Responsabilidades

• Develop, maintain & optimize data warehouse solutions using SQL Server & advanced T-SQL.
• Play a key role in planned Microsoft Fabric implementation, transitioning workloads to the new platform.
• Support existing Microsoft BI environment alongside the modernization programme.
• Apply dimensional modelling & data warehousing principles to deliver scalable data solutions.
• Collaborate with the Lead Data Engineer and stakeholders to shape engineering decisions.
• Deliver engineering work within an Agile environment and contribute to London Data Engineering team development.
