Job summary

BCN is seeking an experienced Data Engineer to design, develop and optimise modern data platforms using Microsoft Fabric and Azure. You will work across client projects, shaping data architectures and pipelines to enable analytics, reporting, AI and machine learning initiatives.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams including Power BI and AI specialists, ensure data governance and security, and participate in pre-sales activities while delivering measurable business value.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and implementing data engineering solutions using Microsoft Fabric and Microsoft Azure.
• Strong knowledge of ETL/ELT development and data warehousing concepts.
• Familiarity with dimensional modelling and modern data architecture patterns.
• Experience with CI/CD practices and Git-based development workflows is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and deliver data engineering solutions for clients with a focus on modern ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Build scalable data models and data platforms within Microsoft Fabric and Azure.
• Collaborate with Power BI developers, AI specialists and delivery teams to support analytical and operational needs.
• Engage with stakeholders to understand requirements and provide trusted guidance on data strategy and governance.
• Contribute to pre-sales and solution shaping activities, including technical input in customer discussions.
