Job summary

Zego is hiring a Senior Data Engineer to design, build and evolve our data platform, enabling AI-driven insurance decisions and real-time analytics. You’ll craft scalable data pipelines and collaborate with cross-functional teams across engineering, analytics and product to ensure reliable data access.

You will contribute to the data architecture, promote best practices, and help engineers grow through knowledge sharing, reviews, and hands-on guidance in a fast-paced, hybrid working environment.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of data engineering experience on scalable data platforms.
• Hands-on with ETL/ELT pipelines and large-scale data architectures.
• Proficient with modern data stack including Python, SQL, and analytics tooling.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and data warehouses.
• Collaborate with analytics, data science, and product teams to meet data needs.
• Promote best practices in testing, CI/CD, observability, and infrastructure as code.
• Support and mentor less experienced engineers through pairing and code reviews.
