Zego is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to design, build, and scale our data platform in a high-growth, product-led environment. You will collaborate with Engineering, Data Science, Analytics and Product to ensure data infrastructure supports analytics, experimentation, and decision-making.

This hands-on role emphasizes code quality, CI/CD, security, and observability, with a focus on knowledge sharing and mentoring across the team.

Qualifications

• 4+ years as a Data Engineer building scalable data platforms.
• Experience designing and operating ETL/ELT pipelines and large-scale data architectures.
• Hands-on with modern data stacks: Python, SQL, Snowflake, Apache Iceberg, AWS S3, PostgresDB, Airflow, dbt, Apache Spark; deployed via AWS, Docker, Terraform.

Responsibilities

• Act as a strong technical contributor within the Data Engineering team.
• Support and grow junior engineers through pairing, code review, and knowledge sharing.
• Promote best practices in data engineering: testing, CI/CD, observability, IaC.
