Job summary

Bunzl McLaughlin, part of Bunzl plc, is seeking a Senior Data Compliance Officer to join the Category team at Drumsill Distribution Centre, Moy Road, Armagh. You will ensure product data and processes meet regulatory and internal standards, with emphasis on data integrity, governance, and cost price validation.

The role involves cross-functional collaboration with IT, Finance, Commercial and Operations, and continuous improvement of data controls and governance frameworks.

Qualifications

• Experience in a compliance, finance, or data governance role.
• Experience with regulatory submissions portals – e.g. Valpak, Osapiens.
• Experience working with pricing, procurement, or supplier cost data.
• Strong understanding of data compliance, governance, and regulatory frameworks.
• Experience in financial data analysis, cost pricing, or commercial data management.
• Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to interpret and audit complex datasets and identify discrepancies.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Data Compliance & Governance: develop, implement, and maintain policies aligned with regulations; ensure data fields populated; conduct audits and risk assessments.
• Cost Price Checking: validate supplier cost data and pricing structures; investigate discrepancies; collaborate with finance and procurement.
• Compliance Monitoring & Risk Management: identify risks related to data, pricing, and reporting; implement corrective actions; maintain audit trails.
• Reporting & Analysis: produce regular compliance and data quality reports for senior management; support data-driven decisions.
• Stakeholder Engagement: work cross-functionally with IT, Finance, Commercial, and Operations.
• Continuous Improvement: identify opportunities to improve data processes, controls, and governance; stay updated with regulations.
