Job summary

Collinson is seeking a Lead Data Analytics Engineer to advance enterprise data modelling, analytics automation and engineering empowerment across Global Analytics. You will translate strategy into technical direction, enabling squads to deliver trusted, scalable Data Products while maintaining engineering excellence.

You will lead from the front with hands-on implementation, mentor teams, and shape the technical roadmap, focusing on Snowflake, dbt, SQL, Python and AWS within a modern analytics

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on Analytics Engineering/Data Engineering experience with deep expertise in data modelling, Snowflake, dbt and SQL.
• Proven experience building automation, reusable engineering frameworks and scalable analytical architectures.
• Strong technical leadership experience, including influencing multiple teams, solving complex engineering challenges and mentoring senior engineers.
• Experience applying GenAI, LLMs, AI agents or Snowflake Cortex to engineering automation.
• A hands‑on, outcome‑driven engineering leader who leads from the front by designing, building, and delivering solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead the enterprise approach to analytical data modelling and semantic layers across Data Products.
• Drive Analytics Automation and AI initiatives to improve engineering productivity and quality.
• Create frameworks and reusable components to empower squads to deliver faster.
• Provide senior technical leadership on complex solutions and roadmap planning.
