Job summary

Snowflake UK seeks a Senior Solution Engineer to partner with the account sales team and channel partners, understanding customer needs and guiding evaluation and adoption of Snowflake solutions.

You will translate complex data challenges into Snowflake-based architectures, deliver compelling executive and technical demonstrations, and help drive deals through collaboration with Product, Engineering and Marketing.

Qualifications

• Solution engineering/solution architect experience in a SaaS environment (analytics, data engineering etc).
• Outstanding presentation skills to technical and executive audiences.
• Understanding of data architecture, data analytics and cloud technology.
• Hands on experience with SQL.
• Ability to translate Snowflake solutions into customer value.
• Customer-facing communication across technical and executive audiences.

Responsibilities

• Present Snowflake’s technology and vision to executives and technical contributors at prospects and customers.
• Demonstrate and communicate the value of Snowflake throughout the sales cycle, from demo to PoC to design and implementation.
• Create and develop technical champions to drive deals and win.
• Present Snowflake roadmap features and functionality to customers/prospects.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Marketing to improve Snowflake’s products and messaging.
• Represent Snowflake at industry or customer events.
• Work with ecosystem partners to build joint architectures and account strategies.
