Job summary

Snowflake is seeking a Senior Solution Engineer for the UK market to work with the account sales team and partners, translating customer needs into Snowflake solutions.

As a Snowflake Solution Engineer you will present technology to executives, run demos, and develop technical champions across accounts, while staying ahead of Snowflake roadmap features and collaborating with Product, Engineering and Marketing to drive customer success.

Qualifications

• Solution engineering or solution architect experience in a SaaS environment or relevant analytics/data engineering background.
• Outstanding presentation skills for technical and executive audiences, including demos and whiteboard sessions.
• Strong understanding of data architecture, analytics and cloud technology.
• Hands-on SQL experience and ability to translate technical concepts into business value.
• Excellent customer-facing communication across written and verbal channels.

Responsibilities

• Present Snowflake’s technology and vision to executives and technical contributors at prospects and customers.
• Demonstrate and communicate Snowflake value throughout the sales cycle from demo to PoC to design and implementation.
• Create technical champions in accounts to drive deals and technical wins.
• Stay at the cutting edge of Snowflake roadmap features and relay them to customers.
• Learn about competitors and position Snowflake effectively in relation to them.
• Collaborate with PE, Product, Engineering and Marketing to improve Snowflake products and messaging.
• Represent Snowflake at industry events and work with partners on joint architectures.
