Job summary

Asda Stores Ltd is seeking a Customer Insights Manager to join the Customer Planning and Insights team, blending customer behaviour, market intelligence and internal performance data to deliver clear, commercially relevant insight. You will help customer & commercial teams act with pace and confidence, ensuring decisions balance customer needs with sales, margin and wider business goals.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with commercial insight.
• Experience combining multiple data sources to form evidence-based recommendations.
• Proven track record delivering insights to stakeholders at various levels.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills; able to simplify complex analyses.
• The ability to influence cross-functional and leadership stakeholders toward customer and commercial outcomes.
• Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint; experienced with Power BI; Familiar with Databricks.
• Knowledge of retail industry, market trends and consumer data sources such as Worldpanel and Nielsen NIQ.
• Proactive, curious and improvement-focused mindset.

Responsibilities

• Act as an insight partner to stakeholders, shaping category direction.
• Translate data into clear stories, recommendations and actions.
• Create and present insight reports, dashboards and analyses.
• Lead relationships with external agency partners to deliver insight programmes.
• Measure impact of insight-led initiatives and improve future analyses.
