Job summary

The Ballymore Group is seeking a Senior Credit Control Analyst for a permanent role in Canary Wharf. The role offers hybrid work with 40 hours per week (Mon–Fri) and work-from-home one day per week (Friday).

You will actively collect debts, manage client relationships, monitor aged debt, and coordinate with external agencies and legal teams to protect cash flow. Previous credit control in property management is preferred.

Qualifications

• Numeracy and good communication skills; negotiation experience is advantageous.
• Understanding of leasehold law and its impact on debt recovery.
• Experience in credit control within a property management environment (managing agent, social housing, etc.).
• Professional behaviour in all interactions with external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Active collection of outstanding debts via calls, emails or letters and informing debtors of overdue invoices.
• Maintaining regular contact with clients to manage debt.
• Develop relationships with Housing Associations and commercial tenants to improve collections.
• Oversee issuing of statements to debtors on a routine basis or as required.
• Ensure cash collection targets and aged debt targets are met.
• Refer debtors to collection agencies when appropriate and follow procedures.
• Monitor unallocated cash and credit notes and ensure proper posting in the Propman system.
• Prepare regular management reports detailing debtor positions and progress against targets.
• Assess when to commence legal action and coordinate with legal teams.
• Develop relationships with third-party debt collection agencies and ensure reporting provides a unified view.
• Deputise for Head of Credit Control when required.
