Job summary

Elevation Recruitment Group in Leeds is seeking a confident Credit Controller to join a busy finance team. The role involves managing a portfolio of high-value client accounts, cash collection, and ownership of ledger activities.

You will build strong client relationships, chase overdue payments by phone and email, and collaborate with internal stakeholders to improve processes and reporting.

Qualifications

• Experience in Credit Control / Sales Ledger.
• Experience handling high-value client accounts.
• Strong communication and numerical accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Managing own sales ledger and client portfolio.
• Chasing overdue invoices via telephone and email.
• Working towards cash collection and debtor day targets.
• Account reconciliations, cash postings and credit notes.
• Producing ad-hoc reporting and MI for stakeholders.
• Liaising with senior internal stakeholders to resolve issues.
