Responsibilities

• Develop and implement credit control strategies to minimize bad debts and optimize cash flow.
• Establish, enforce, and review credit policies and procedures for compliance.
• Assess creditworthiness and set limits using financial analysis and reports.
• Oversee debt collection while maintaining strong client relationships.
• Manage write-offs, provisions, and payment plans per policy.
• Liaise with external credit agencies and solicitors to mitigate risks.
• Drive cash collection and reduce aged debt; monitor DSO and KPIs.
• Prepare detailed performance reports for senior management.
• Build relationships with key clients to ensure timely payments and resolve disputes.
• Oversee client statements, reminders and follow-ups for consistency.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the credit control team with regular reviews.
