Job summary

RLB is seeking a Regional Credit Control Manager in Birmingham with hybrid working. You will co-lead the credit control function, drive cash collection, manage aged debt, and maintain strong client relationships while ensuring financial controls and processes meet the group objectives.

You will collaborate with finance and operations, oversee reporting, and continually improve credit control performance to protect cash flow and reduce risk.

Qualifications

• CICM/AAT qualified or working towards this or a similar qualification preferable.

Responsibilities

• Be proactive in building and maintaining relationships with internal stakeholders and clients.
• Manage end-to-end credit control including onboarding, credit assessments, and reconciliations.
• Drive cash collection through proactive debt management and escalation when needed.
• Lead resolution of invoice queries and disputes with operations and finance teams.
• Perform regular aged debt reviews and provide insights to senior leadership.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, systems and ways of working in credit control.
• Support audit deliverables and ensure compliance with policies and controls.
