Job summary

BBC Creative in London/Manchester is seeking a Senior Writer to lead and shape multi-brand campaigns across platforms. You will direct teams, develop innovative concepts, present ideas to stakeholders and ensure all work aligns with the BBC's strategic vision.

You will mentor junior creatives, craft compelling copy and art direction, and manage campaigns from brief to delivery. Flexible hybrid working arrangements are discussed at offer stage.

Qualifications

• Excellence in idea generation across brands.
• Outstanding copywriting and/or art direction.
• Ability to create multi-media campaigns for all platforms.
• Excellent pitch/presentation skills to influence senior stakeholders.
• Ability to develop/mentor more junior creatives.

Responsibilities

• Take the lead on projects, directing and overseeing other Creatives as needed.
• Create and oversee complex, innovative and effective promotional campaigns.
• Come up with and present multiple ideas for any project.
• Work to briefs and ensure material is aligned with objectives.
• Ensure all creative work aligns with BBC's strategic vision and drives the vision forward.
• Take a pro-active role in developing and coaching others.
