Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Senior Project Manager in the United Kingdom to lead large, high‑value projects from concept through delivery. You will apply extensive delivery experience, strategic stakeholder engagement, risk and quality management, and leadership of multidisciplinary teams to ensure success.

You will represent Aecom to major clients, drive project governance, cost control, and scheduling, and oversee safety and quality across programmes.

Qualifications

• Proven and competent experience in construction project management with leadership on complex, high‑value projects.
• Experience from a consultancy or client‑side organisation, able to lead and advise on construction delivery.
• Strong pre‑ and post‑contract project management across the RIBA lifecycle and management of multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of multiple complex projects or programmes, ensuring alignment with client objectives and priorities.
• Oversee all project phases from feasibility to handover, with robust governance and cost management.
• Provide senior client‑facing leadership and foster long‑term relationships.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams (QS, MEP, Architecture, Sustainability, Contractors) and mentor junior PMs.
• Ensure works adhere to budgets, timelines, health and safety, and client expectations.
