Job summary

Turner & Townsend is recruiting for a Cost Management / Quantity Surveyor / Commercial Manager in the Energy & Infrastructure space. The role involves ownership of cost performance, planning, and value engineering on major projects, with strong emphasis on contract administration and client-facing outputs.

You will work within the Natural Resources team on iconic commissions, collaborating with client and contractor teams to achieve KPI targets and robust governance.

Qualifications

• Degree or HNC level qualification required.
• NEC3/4 or FIDIC experience preferred.
• Cost/commercial management experience on energy or infrastructure projects.
• Experience on major programmes or project portfolios.
• Professional Chartership preferred.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of performance, quality, and client outputs.
• Plan and execute work, identify value-adding opportunities, escalate as needed.
• Collaborate with colleagues and clients, maintain professional, respectful approach.
• Communicate clearly and constructively to support productive teamwork.
• Administer and manage contracts with cost monitoring, forecasting, reporting, change management, and cashflow control.
• Work with client and contractor teams to deliver KPIs, cost control, and value engineering.
• Provide commercial leadership and timely final accounts agreement.
• Capture lessons learned and contribute to knowledge management.
