Amentum is seeking a Senior Cost Engineer to support our nuclear project portfolio across the UK. You will lead cost management activities, coordinate with SMEs and operations teams, and ensure robust cost baselines while delivering value to key clients.

The role offers hybrid working across Knutsford or Warrington and emphasizes collaboration, integrity, and safety in all cost-related activities.

Qualifications

• Minimum of HNC/HND in an engineering discipline or relevant experience.
• Strong knowledge of financial systems and cost management.
• Experience across engineering, procurement, construction, installation and commissioning.
• Ability to relate time, cost and commercial aspects of projects.
• Proficient in estimating, scheduling and risk tools.
• Excellent communication with stakeholders and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage framework projects to include risk, change, cost, and resources.
• Lead cost management activities for major frameworks for UK clients.
• Coordinate with SME, operations managers and framework service team.
• Support hybrid working across Knutsford or Warrington offices.
• Maintain project baselines and prepare monthly reports.
