Job summary

Amentum is recruiting a Senior Cost Engineer to support cost management across nuclear project frameworks. You will collaborate with SMEs, operations managers and the framework service team, handling cost, risk, scheduling and reporting across multiple UK locations.

The role features hybrid working across Knutsford or Warrington, with travel as needed. You will build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders and contribute to delivering innovative solutions while maintaining

Qualifications

• Minimum of HNC/HND ideally in an Engineering discipline or relevant experience.
• Good working knowledge of financial systems.
• Breadth of experience across whole project and programme lifecycle.
• Understand the inter-relationship between time cost and commercial aspects of the project life cycle.
• Proficient in the use of estimating, scheduling, programming and risk tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead cost management activities for major frameworks and projects.
• Develop and maintain project baselines in line with company procedures.
• Communicate effectively with management and stakeholders and produce monthly reports.
• Capture project budgetary costs and resources to determine time phasing of expenditure.
