Job summary

Turner & Townsend in Teesside is seeking a Senior Cost Engineer to lead cost management, forecasting, and performance analysis across major energy infrastructure projects. This role requires site attendance and close collaboration with the project team.

You will work with Planning, QS, Commercial and Construction to provide clear cost narratives, manage budgets, forecasts and reporting cycles.

Qualifications

• Experience in cost forecasting, cost reporting, variance analysis and Forecast to Complete / Forecast at Completion reviews.
• Experience with Contractor and Subcontractor cost data, progress information and package-level reporting.
• Strong Excel and cost reporting skills.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide package-level cost management, forecasting and performance analysis across key project scopes.
• Interface with Planning, Commercial, Quantity Surveying, Construction, Contractor and Subcontractor teams to provide cost visibility.
• Support Project Controls Management and forecast outturn reporting.
