Job summary

Turner & Townsend is seeking a Senior Cost Engineer for our Energy & Natural Resources division. The role focuses on package-level cost management, forecasting and performance analysis across project scopes, ensuring cost information is robust and aligned with progress.

You will collaborate with Planning, QS, Commercial and Construction teams to provide visibility of actual cost, forecast costs, changes and emerging risks. On-site presence in Teesside will be required.

Qualifications

• Cost engineering on major construction projects incl. energy/oil & gas sectors.
• Forecasts, reports and Forecast to Complete/Forecast at Completion reviews.
• Experience with contractor/subcontractor cost data and package reporting.
• Strong Excel and large data handling capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide package-level cost management, forecasting and performance analysis.
• Ensure cost information is robust and aligned with progress, commercial assurance and forecast reporting.
• Interface with Planning, QS, Commercial and Construction to provide visibility of actual/forecast costs, trends and risks.
• Deliver clear cost narratives and reporting outputs for project controls.
• Support project teams on cost control processes and dashboards.
