Job summary

Turner & Townsend in the South West is recruiting a Senior Cost Engineer to lead cost control on a major nuclear client project. You will manage work packages, establish robust PMB, and ensure costs align with time, cost and quality targets.

The role requires strong EVM, change control, and reporting skills, with the ability to lead a team and communicate with senior stakeholders. Presence in Bridgewater 3 days a week is expected.

Qualifications

• Experience in Cost Engineering/Control across project lifecycles.
• Familiar with Earned Value Management (EVM) and performance reporting.
• Ability to guide and lead cost control activities in a multi-project environment.

Responsibilities

• Tailor cost control approaches to client needs and best practices.
• Maintain cost control systems to track budgets, expenditures and forecasts.
• Develop CBS and align budgets with WBS for accurate cost tracking.
• Integrate cost estimates with CBS and ensure budgets reflect work packages and control accounts.
• Adhere to NEC/FIDIC processes for cost data management and reporting.
• Lead accrual production to reflect Actual Cost of Work Performed.
