Job summary

Turner & Townsend is seeking a Cost Engineer to support major projects in the delivery of accurate cost information and performance reporting. The role requires a graduate in a relevant discipline with 5–10 years’ experience in project controls and a solid understanding of Earned Value Management.

The candidate will contribute to cost reporting, budget alignment, and forecast development in a UK project environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate in a relevant discipline with 5–10 years' project controls experience.
• Experience delivering controls services on major projects or programmes.
• Understanding of Earned Value Management metrics is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Develop project cost control data structures to track actual costs.
• Establish project control budgets aligned with baselines.
• Track actual costs for internal and external expenditure against controls structures.
• Monitor accruals and commitments against budgets.
• Build forecasts including ETC and EAC.
• Report project information including Earned Value Management.
• Track contingency and exposure from risks.
• Monitor change control to align with baselines.
• Identify trends informing future change controls.
