Job summary

Turner & Townsend is seeking a Cost Engineer to support major projects in the UK, driving cost performance reporting and Earned Value Management metrics. The role requires a graduate with 5–10 years’ experience in project controls, delivering accurate cost information and forecasts.

You will work within a leading global advisory, project management, and cost consultancy firm, contributing to large-scale real estate, infrastructure, and energy projects across the country.

Qualifications

• Typically, a qualified graduate in a relevant discipline.
• Five to ten years experience in the delivery of project controls services.

Responsibilities

• Develop cost control data structures to track actual costs.
• Set project control budgets aligned with baselines.
• Track actual costs against cost controls structures.
• Manage accruals and commitments within budget constraints.
• Prepare forecasts including ETC and EAC.
• Provide accurate and timely reporting including Earned Value Management.
• Monitor contingency and exposure from risks and changes.
• Track change control to align with baselines.
• Identify trends informing future change controls.
