Job summary

Connected Health Group Limited in Northern Ireland is seeking a Senior Coordinator to drive growth by leading a team of Coordinators and delivering high-quality care services. You will support and train staff, ensure compliance with Care Standards and company policies, and collaborate with Care Managers to expand services.

The role requires strong organisational, communication and leadership skills, with experience in coordination and administration.

Qualifications

  • English and Mathematics GCSE at grade C or above.
  • 12 months administrative experience.
  • Minimum of 3 months co-ordination experience.

Responsibilities

  • Provide support and guidance to a co-ordination Team to ensure best outcomes for clients.
  • Support the team’s learning, development and high standard of work.
  • Be knowledgeable of Connected Health's policies and procedures and ensure adherence.
  • Promote the aims and values of Connected Health.
  • Oversee coordination procedures alongside other Senior Coordinators.
  • Assist the Coordination Team Manager in day-to-day running of coordination.
  • Supervise team in the absence of the Coordination Manager.
  • Sourcing and implementing new packages with knowledge of client and staff capacities.
  • Work with brokerages and Care Managers to build strong working relationships.
  • Create and maintain accurate staff rotas and ensure continuity of care.
  • Compile reports for invoicing, payroll and management.
  • Set up new clients on IT system and ensure packages are on system by end of day.
  • Maintain all client activity on IT system.
  • Comply with Care Standards Act 2008 for Domiciliary and Residential Care regulations.
  • Follow Quality Assurance Policy and maintain confidentiality.
  • Report safeguarding issues to Coordination Manager.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement and company-wide projects.

The Role

As a Senior Coordinator, you are responsible for driving business growth by leading the team of Coordinators.

You will be responsible for supporting and managing a co-ordination team with any queries or concerns they have, setting expansion targets alongside company strategic objectives and assisting the team when and where it is required. You will be required to work alongside new employees to train and develop their practical skills, ensuring the high level of compliance expected by Connected Health is achieved.

You will be required to provide insight to the Coordination Team Manager on the area in which you work and to work with them collaboratively to grow the area whilst maintaining quality.

Main duties & Responsibilities
  • Provide support and guidance to a co-ordination Team, to ensure the Connected Health clients receive the best outcomes in everything we do.
  • To be supportive towards your team and assist them in their learning, development, and ability to work to a high standard.
  • Be knowledgeable on Connected Health's policies and procedures. Ensuring the Connected Health Policies & Procedures are always adhered to provide a safe working environment.
  • Passionately promote the aims and values of Connected Health.
  • Overseeing coordination procedures working alongside other Senior Coordinators
  • Assisting the Coordination Team Manager in the day to day running of coordination
  • Supervising team in the absence of the Coordination Manager
  • Responsible for sourcing and implementing new packages, with a knowledge of all capacities for both clients and staff in the area.
  • Working closely with all brokerages and Care Managers within the Trusts to establish a good working relationship.
  • Creation and maintenance of accurate staff rotas, ensure continuity of care.
  • Compiling reports for invoicing, payroll, and management.
  • Set up new clients on IT system, uploading package details before the first call takes place, prepare folders for client homes. All new packages must be on the system by the end of business day.
  • Maintain all client activity on IT system.
  • To be conversant with the Care Standards Act 2008 for Domiciliary Care Regulations (National Minimum Standards) and legislation governing the service and other regulations concerning the provision of both domiciliary care and residential care services.
  • To be aware of the Quality Assurance Policy of the Company in the provision of a quality service to the Service Users.
  • To always represent the Company in a professional manner, on the telephone, face to face or in written communication.
  • To ensure that telephones are answered promptly, and people are spoken to in a polite and respectful manner.
  • To always maintain confidentiality and carry out the Company's Confidentiality Policy.
  • To report to the Coordination Manager any issues regarding the safeguarding of clients.
  • To ensure the continuous improvement of service delivery
  • To participate in companywide projects
  • To carry out any other tasks required by the company
