Job summary

Upfront Recruitment is seeking a Contracts Manager for Social Housing Planned Maintenance. You will take overall responsibility for multiple contracts across London and the South East, overseeing programmes from mobilisation to handover and final accounts.

You will manage operational teams, subcontractors, and client relationships in occupied housing environments, ensuring safety, profitability and compliance with client specifications.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in contract management within social housing or planned maintenance.
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience delivering works across occupied housing environments.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple planned maintenance, cyclical decoration and refurbishment contracts.
• Lead site managers, supervisors, operatives, subcontractors and supply-chain partners.
• Plan labour, resources, programmes and delivery schedules across workstreams.
• Monitor budgets, variations, valuations and contract profitability.
• Collaborate with QS and commercial team on forecasting and financial performance.
• Manage Housing Association and Local Authority client relationships.
• Oversee painting, decorating, repairs and associated building works.
• Ensure quality, snagging and right-first-time performance.
• Work sensitively within occupied properties and resident-facing environments.
• Maintain Health & Safety standards, RAMS and site inspections.
