Job summary

LHH is recruiting a Contracts Manager to support Leonardo’s Surveillance and Protection Technologies business, working on a varied portfolio of UK and international defence contracts.

This senior commercial role requires leading bids and live contracts, drafting and negotiating terms, and shaping commercial strategy across UK and international opportunities. You will provide commercial leadership within integrated project teams and manage risk, pricing and supplier relationships.

Qualifications

• Experience leading commercial bids and live contracts.
• Strong knowledge of contract law and its practical application.
• Experience handling UK Government and international contracts.
• Understanding of commercial finance, margins and FX.

Responsibilities

• Lead commercial activity across bids, proposals and live contracts.
• Draft, negotiate and administer complex contractual terms and conditions.
• Develop commercial strategies and secure internal approvals.
• Prepare customer pricing and cost estimates using appropriate pricing strategies.
• Manage contractual obligations, change control and commercial risk.
• Draft and review NDAs, software licensing agreements and MOUs.
• Collaborate with Procurement to ensure flow-through of terms to subcontractors.
• Build relationships with customers, suppliers and internal stakeholders.
