Leonardo UK Ltd. seeks a Senior Sub-Contract Buyer to lead sub-contract activities across Production and Development IPTs within the Combat Air sector. You will translate customer requirements into commercial agreements and manage back-to-back campaigns with strategic partners and suppliers.

The role demands tactical and strategic thinking, risk management, and strong collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver complex electronic systems and sub-systems.

Competenze

• Degree-level training or professional qualification; MCIPS preferred.
• Strong collaboration, communication, planning, problem solving and continuous improvement skills.
• Solid knowledge of Defence/Aerospace procurement practices or similar industry.

Mansioni

• Lead the delivery of sub-contract activities and related procurement services.
• Manage relationships with Leonardo suppliers, conducting reviews and performance management.
• Negotiate complex agreements and risk/reward mechanisms for business cases.
• Translate customer and project requirements into commercial documents for design, development and production.
• Mitigate risks in commercial agreements and ensure compliance with terms.
• Develop robust contracts for services, intangible and tangible deliverables.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure flowdown of terms from customer contracts.
