Job summary

C&P Recruitment is working with a leading construction business to recruit an experienced Contracts Manager for their North of Scotland projects. You will oversee delivery from pre-construction to handover, acting as the primary contact for delivery teams to ensure on-time, on-budget builds to high standards.

You will lead Project Managers and Site Agents, drive performance, and work with the commercial team to monitor budgets and variations while enforcing health, safety and environmental

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Contracts Manager or Senior Project Manager.
• Experience working for a tier-one or major regional contractor.
• Strong sector knowledge across build or infrastructure projects (Commercial, Education, Healthcare, Civils).
• Proven leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and develop project teams.
• A valid CSCS card and SMSTS certification.
• A degree or HND in Construction Management, or equivalent industry experience.
• Professional membership, such as MCIOB, would be highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Oversee multiple construction sites from pre-construction through to completion and handover.
• Ensure projects are delivered in line with design specifications, deadlines, budgets, and financial targets.
• Monitor project progress and address risks, issues, and delays proactively.
• Maintain high standards of quality throughout the construction process.
• Work closely with the commercial team to monitor budgets and financial performance.
• Manage variations, costs, and contractual requirements effectively.
• Coordinate project stakeholders to ensure seamless delivery and represent the company professionally.
