Ecclesiastical Insurance, part of Benefact Group, seeks a Senior Content Manager to lead UKGI's content, shaping our narrative and thought leadership to boost authority and market presence. You’ll work with senior leaders and external stakeholders to deliver engaging content that reflects our brand standards.

You will develop content and thought leadership programs, build profiles of key voices, and extend reach through media and partnerships, ensuring governance and quality across channels.

Qualifications

• Senior content, editorial, or marketing communications experience.
• Experience building organisational profile via thought leadership and editorial programmes.
• Ability to work with senior leaders and subject matter experts.
• Excellent writing, editing, storytelling, and content strategy skills.
• Experience with media, trade publications, industry bodies.
• Identify emerging trends and create relevant thought leadership content.
• Strong understanding of brand voice, editorial standards, and content governance.

Responsabilités

• Build trusted relationships with senior leaders, media, industry associations, and PR teams to raise UKGI's profile.
• Lead UKGI's content, editorial, publishing, and thought leadership programme to support brand, reputation, engagement, and objectives.
• Identify topical themes and opportunities, translating expertise into authoritative thought leadership across channels.
• Lead editorial standards and quality, ensuring engaging, accessible content aligned with brand guidelines.
• Maximise content value across paid, earned, shared, and owned channels; ensure distribution.
• Use performance insights to evaluate content effectiveness and drive continuous improvement.
• Provide leadership across UKGI's content capability; coach and develop colleagues.
• Manage external content, editorial, and PR suppliers to ensure quality and delivery.
• Ensure content complies with governance, approval processes, and regulatory requirements.
