Job summary

Lockton in the UK is seeking a Senior Content Writer to join its Marketing team. You’ll lead long-form storytelling and thought leadership with subject matter experts to produce client and prospect content across multiple business lines.

You’ll transform complex risk and insurance topics into clear, engaging narratives, support SEO, and collaborate with Account Managers and in-house marketing to shape messaging for UK and European audiences.

Qualifications

• Proven experience writing long-form content and thought leadership in B2B or professional services.
• Confident interviewing subject matter experts and senior leaders.
• Strong stakeholder management and ability to work with diverse teams.
• Clear verbal and written communication; translate complex topics.
• Working knowledge of SEO and content performance.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of long-form content including articles, reports, newsletters.
• Conduct interviews with subject matter experts to shape narratives.
• Turn complex topics into clear, client-focused stories.
• Collaborate with design to present reports visually.
• Plan content with Marketing Managers aligned to priorities.
• Collaborate with digital team to optimise for SEO and GEO.
• Repurpose content for email, social, and video scripts.
• Review content performance with stakeholders.
• Support events with copy for pre- and post-promotion.
• Build relationships with US and international colleagues for localization.
• Uphold Lockton’s tone of voice and brand guidelines.
