Job summary

Sweet Projects is seeking a Construction Project Manager to lead the project team and deliver schemes from inception to handover. You will work across disciplines, manage site teams, subcontractors, and supply chains to meet programme, cost, and quality targets.

Reporting to Head of Construction, you will develop relationships with clients and consultants, ensure compliance with NEC/JCT contracts, and uphold health and safety standards while driving continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Degree educated or equivalent in construction related subject.
• Membership of professional body (e.g. MICE, CIOB, RICS).
• CSCS Card – Gold, SMSTS – essential.
• RAMS and 1st Aid at Work are required.
• Working at Heights preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop key working relationships with all Sweet Projects staff, clients, consultants and sub-contractors.
• Coordinate with local supply chain partners to ensure timely delivery and quality.
• Ensure work stays on programme and aligns with drawings and instructions.
• Supervise direct labour and coordinate trades to meet budget and quality standards.
• Maintain safety, health and environment procedures and daily site briefings.
• Promote high standards and ensure contract terms are delivered.
• Provide weekly reports to Head of Construction and manage project records.
