Job summary

Ferrovial Construction in London is seeking a Senior Procurement Manager to lead procurement strategy and governance for major infrastructure projects. You will coordinate tendering, bid evaluation and subcontract documentation across design, construction and planning teams.

The role requires strong NEC contract knowledge, construction procurement leadership, and excellent communication across partners and suppliers.

Qualifications

• Good knowledge of NEC contracts and other bespoke contracts.
• Previous experience as a procurement lead in construction and line management experience.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively across the company and with partners, suppliers and customers.
• Strong influencing and persuasion skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships at different levels.
• A structured and methodical approach to managing procurement activities and documentation.
• A strong attitude to act as a champion to maintain a proper governance of procurement.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement procurement strategy and coordinate with design and construction teams.
• Coordinate with Thames commercial representatives on project objectives and requirements.
• Lead weekly procurement meetings and maintain the Master Procurement Plan for reporting.
• Coordinate with M&E, civils and other teams for a consistent procurement approach.
• Draft and manage subcontract documentation and provide contractual support across packages.
