Job summary

Ferrovial Construction is seeking a Senior Procurement Manager to lead procurement activities for the Slough Sewage Treatment Works project, a joint venture with Cadagua. You will coordinate tendering, bid evaluation, and subcontract documentation with design, construction, commercial, and planning teams, ensuring governance and timely delivery.

Role requires strong NEC contract knowledge, construction procurement leadership, and ability to manage complex supply chains in a JV environment while

Qualifications

• Good knowledge of NEC contracts and other bespoke contracts.
• Previous experience as a procurement lead in construction.
• Excellent communication skills across the company and with partners, suppliers and customers.
• Strong influencing and persuasion skills and ability to build relationships at different levels.
• Structured, methodical approach to procurement activities and governance.

Responsibilities

• Develop procurement strategy and coordinate procurement activities with design and construction teams.
• Coordinate with Thames commercial representatives on SAF 1 and 2 objectives.
• Lead tendering, bid evaluation, and subcontract documentation for the JV and Thames.
• Draft and manage ITT documents, respond to tender queries, and organise tender meetings.
• Provide contractual advice on procurement and select appropriate contract types per package.
