Job summary

Ferrovial is seeking a Senior Procurement Manager for the Slough project. You will manage procurement activities across the JV and Thames, coordinating tendering, bid evaluation and subcontract documentation with design, construction, commercial and planning teams, and preparing package recommendations.

You will lead procurement strategy, supplier engagement, and governance, chairing procurement meetings and ensuring timely delivery of procurement packages for the £80 million upgrade of Slough

Qualifications

• Good knowledge of NEC contracts and other bespoke contracts.
• Previous experience as a procurement lead in construction and line management experience.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively across the company and with partners, suppliers and customers.
• Strong influencing and persuasion skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships at different levels.
• A structured and methodical approach to managing procurement activities and documentation.
• A strong attitude to act as a champion to maintain a proper governance of procurement.

Responsibilities

• Procurement strategy and coordination with design and construction teams.
• Coordinate with Thames commercial representatives on project objectives.
• Chair weekly procurement meetings and maintain Master Procurement Plan for the Project.
• Coordinate with M&E, civils and relevant teams for consistent procurement approach.
• Coordinate with JV planners on programme requirements and time documentation.
