First Recruitment Group seeks a Senior Procurement and Supply Chain Manager to lead procurement strategies for major infrastructure bids in Greater London. The role spans from early client engagement through mobilisation, ensuring high-value, compliant procurement outcomes.

The successful candidate will drive supplier engagement, bid support, and sustainability initiatives while maintaining governance and ethical standards in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Significant procurement & supply chain management experience in infrastructure, engineering, or construction.
• Experience supporting client tenders, bid-winning activities, and estimating.
• Involvement with civil engineering/infrastructure projects.
• Strong commercial awareness to negotiate best-value outcomes.
• Familiarity with electronic tendering platforms such as Jaggaer or SourceDogg.

Responsibilities

• Support procurement & supply chain objectives through bid and work-winning processes.
• Develop procurement strategies with bid teams and supplier selection plans.
• Assist estimating teams with market intelligence, supplier engagement, and pricing strategies.
• Build relationships with internal stakeholders and supply chain partners.
• Ensure supply chain governance, compliance, and best-practice adoption.
• Support sustainability initiatives and supply chain engagement activities.
• Contribute to tenders and technical submissions.
