Marshalls plc is seeking an experienced Commercial Account Manager to drive sales across a field-based UK territory, focusing on house builders, contractors and key specialist merchants. You will manage relationships, identify opportunities and contribute to profitability within your patch.

You will own the sales plan, work with cross-functional teams, and travel within your patch to maximise opportunities while meeting KPIs and contributing to Marshalls’ growth strategy.

Qualifikationen

• External Sales or Account Management experience in the construction industry is essential.
• Proven track record in major projects and account management.
• Ability to develop long-term relationships with customers and colleagues.

Aufgaben

• Develop and implement a focused territory business plan based on territory sales budget for all commercial product catalogues.
• Promote early pre-tender engagement and present project-related value propositions and on-site product training with Marshalls product specialists.
• Work with Regional Trading Director and sales colleagues to align with national priorities and support functions.
• Identify, monitor and report competitor activity and market trends.
• Attend exhibitions, trade events and CPD seminars as required; deliver sales growth of new products.
