Job summary

Marshalls plc, a leading UK manufacturer of building, roofing and landscaping solutions, is seeking a Commercial Account Manager to drive external sales across a defined region. You will build lasting relationships with house builders, contractors and specialist merchants, owning sales and profitability within your territory.

You will promote pre-tender engagement, deliver value propositions, and work with Marshalls product specialists to maximise cross-catalogue opportunities.

Qualifications

• External Sales/Account Management experience in construction, selling to sub-contractors and specialist merchants.
• Proven track record, including major projects and account management.
• Ability to develop long-term relationships with customers and colleagues.
• Proven project-tracking and conversion skills.
• Self-motivated, dynamic, and driven; able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Promote early pre-tender engagement and present project-related value propositions with Marshalls product specialists.
• Develop and implement a focused territory business plan across catalogues.
• Manage contractors, sub-contractors and merchant relationships to grow sales.
• Monitor KPIs, leads, project pipelines, and CRM reporting to maximise regional objectives.
• Represent Marshalls at exhibitions and events when required to drive opportunities.
