Job summary

BMS Performance Ltd is seeking a Senior Conference Producer in London, responsible for delivering senior-level, revenue-driven conferences across regulated technical sectors. You will lead research, agenda building and speaker management for multiple events annually, including flagship multi-day formats.

You will mentor junior producers, collaborate with sales, marketing and sponsorship, and travel internationally as needed to secure content and audiences.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' experience producing B2B conferences, with deadline-driven agenda development.
• Commercial outlook: understand how content drives revenue and launches new events.
• Confident speaking to senior officials and directors to validate topics and secure speakers.
• Able to manage multiple conferences and keep departments informed.
• Willing to travel internationally with valid passport.
• Mentor junior producers and explore AI tools to improve production efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Research, write and produce multiple senior-level conferences per year, including multi-day events.
• Validate topics through industry conversations to drive revenue growth.
• Secure speakers and chairs for events to tight deadlines (30–60 speakers depending on size).
• Act as project manager, coordinating telesales, marketing and sponsorship to hit targets.
• Own audience delivery and revenue tracking for primary markets; intervene when needed.
• Identify launch ideas and growth opportunities for events; contribute to data briefs.
• Mentor junior staff and champion AI to streamline production processes.

About the company

A well-established international B2B conference business, part of a larger international organisation, producing senior-level, content-driven conferences for decision-makers across a range of highly regulated and technical industries. The business has recently shifted toward fewer, larger and more commercially valuable events, including multi-day flagship formats with international reach.

Role responsibilities

• Research, write and produce a minimum of five senior-level business conferences a year, including at least one multi-day large scale event with a Focus Day and parallel streams
• Validate new topics and themes through in-depth conversations with industry and primary market contacts, building agendas that drive revenue growth year on year
• Secure the speakers and chairs for each event to tight production deadlines, from at least 30 for a two-day event up to 60 for a large scale event
• Act as project manager for every event, working closely with telesales, marketing and sponsorship to hit revenue and audience targets
• Take ownership of primary market audience delivery and track revenue and audience breakdown to step in early where action is needed
• Spot and report new launch ideas and ways to grow existing events, and help shape data build briefs
• Mentor junior producers and champion the use of AI to make production more efficient

Candidate background

• A minimum of two years' experience producing B2B conferences, with a track record of building strong agendas to deadline
• A commercial outlook, with a clear understanding of how content drives revenue and new event launches
• Confident speaking to senior officials and directors, face to face and by phone, to validate topics and secure speakers
• Able to manage several conferences at once and keep every department informed
• Willing to travel internationally, with a valid passport
