Job summary

Media Search Inc. is seeking an innovative conference producer to lead international security portfolios. The role involves researching, writing and producing 5-7 B2B conferences per year, and curating high-quality content for each event.

You will coordinate with Marketing and other departments to maximise profitability, ensure timely data collection from speakers, and keep the Production Manager informed of progress and any challenges.

Qualifications

• Build strong 2-day agendas reflecting industry needs.
• Act as Project Manager for each event, coordinating with departments.
• Manage multiple conference responsibilities with good time management.
• Assimilate information quickly and effectively.

Responsibilities

• Research, write & produce a minimum of 5-7 business conferences per annum.
• Produce events to the highest quality and curate content.
• Ensure speaker data is collected and stored in the internal database daily.
• Meet deadlines and production targets.
• Keep Production Manager informed of progress and issues.
• Maximise event profitability by controlling speakers' expenses.
• Collaborate with Marketing on marketing material and associations/journals.
• Provide a mid-production marketing brief with developments.
• Add value to the conference programme wherever possible.

My client is a highly professional, world leading business that specialises in the production of B2B Conferences, Due to expansion a role has arisen for an innovative producer to work on International Security portfolios.

Key Tasks

• Research, write & produce a minimum of 5-7 business conferences per annum.
• Produce each event to the highest quality possible, curating content for the relevant event
• Ensure data is requested and received from all invited and confirmed speakers and workshop leaders and added to the internal database daily.
• Ensure deadlines are met and production targets achieved and exceeded.
• Keep the Production Manager fully informed and aware of the progress of each conference and any problems.

• Maximise event profitability (keeping speakers’ expenses to a minimum)
• Work with Marketing to check all marketing material relevant to your conferences, advising them on how best to attract potential delegates, making suggestions of associations, societies, and journals suitable for external marketing activity.
• Provide a mid-production marketing brief to add any developments or refinements to the initial research brief.

Add additional value to the conference programme wherever possible.
