Job summary

First Base Employment Ltd is seeking a Senior Composite Laminator in Nuneaton to lead and support a busy composites department. You will laminate parts, manage autoclave and oven processing, and ensure high-quality output within tight timescales.

You’ll mentor junior laminators, review drawings, and contribute to process improvements while maintaining equipment and a clean work area in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• Experience as a composite laminator, ideally at a senior level.
• Experience with pre-preg autoclave processes.
• Experience working with carbon and glass composite materials.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to follow procedures, work instructions and manuals.
• Good verbal communication and listening skills.
• Able to work to tight deadlines and remain calm under pressure.
• Comfortable working in a fast-moving manufacturing environment.
• Motorsport or automotive composite experience would be highly desirable.
• Able to support and develop less experienced laminators.

Location: Nuneaton
Hours: Double day shifts, 37 hours per week
Salary: £36,000 to £41,625 per annum
